Which are better for Gaming?  Pc's or Consoles?

With PC's you can always upgrade your gear, pushing them to their gfx limits.

Consoles you can sit back in your bed and play in comfort.

I've also opened a Public debate http://urwrong.net/topic/114

Would love to hear what you all have to say.  I've moved on to a Mac so any gaming I have to do is with bootcamp or on Paralles :(

This...will not end well.

Heh heh. Why not? It's a good topic.

It's not always about graphics.  I still play Call of Duty: United Offensive, Diablo I and II and Half-Life.  That's just naming some games.

I can't answer for everyone but for me, if I am going to play a FPS or even a TPS, I would prefer to play it on PC.  Anything else I will take on my PS3 if it is available for both.

For me, it's a tie.  I have the best of both worlds.

diablo 2 my favorite pc game of all time then cs and much more but they are both good but pc to me it like crack you cant stay away from it

PC for one reason : Mods

If you got no friends= Pc.
If you got friends=Pc+console.
I have always had Pc+console,now powerful laptop+psp+PS3.
'I was really suprised in this site there is so many people who dislike Pc gaming.

Take my love, take my land..

Consoles. They're more comfortable, easier to share with others, and they (usually) don't require tedious installs, updates, and troubleshooting.

I'll also add that while PCs have a good interface, it hasn't really changed in 25 years. I know, if you fork over tons of cash you can get all kinds of crazy interfaces working... for a game or two. But game designers always plan for the ol' KBM first.

The standards of controllers is a large part of why consoles have grown in directions that PC games largely haven't, it's true...
