Ive had my ps3 for about 1-2 years, and i was just playing MGS4 and sent my friend a message about how vamp is so hard.

Then he sent me a message and i went to view it, and reply and the screen messed up. I couldnt do anything.

I tried turning it off with the touchscreen panel and it just made the disc ejecting sound. I quit the game by holding the

PS button and the screen went all black. So i had to turn it off from the back (the switch).

Im too scared to turn my PS3 on, because ive gone through 2 PS3's (this is my third) and im out of warranty.

turn it on, just get it over with.

Take a deep breath and go turn it on.

I had this error too once a long time ago, just turn it on and everything should be fine :D

Is there a yellow light on your PS3?

This has happened to me a few times in the past couple of years, it just turned right back on no problems. It just froze up a bit.
