Forums - Sony - NIS Europe working on Atelier Rorona

Playstation Portable.de got in touch with NIS Europe to talk about the European version of Badman and discovered something about Rorona. (Thanks for the tip Jose!!)

Allison Walker, Project Development Manager at NIS Europe, subtly announced Atelier Rorona for Europe. In the interview Walker says, “We are currently working on ‘Atelier Rorona‘ (PS3).” Can’t get much clearer than that!

So far, NIS America has not announced anything official for Atelier Rorona. However, it seems unlikely that Atelier Rorona will be a European exclusive.

While we’re waiting for domestic details you can read our impressions of Gust’s first 3D Atelier title.

So here we go almost official confirmation that it will be released in human readable language :)

now who was that one saying good luck coming out in America? I want to say segajon but i'm not sure

Atelier Rorona is too....... Cute? Japanese? Cotton candy full? For my taste. But hopefully it will sell enough to secure more and different niche titles for Europe.

Yep. If all else fails, it means that we can import the European version.

I pointed this out in a earlier thread out about Atelier Rorona and Badman.
This is something I forgot to say though:

... we might actualy get an JRPG before US? Or maybe only we might get it?!? That hasn't happened since Terranigma (the latter).

"And yet, I've realized that maybe living a "decent" life means you won't ever have a "good" life."

I'm talking about only being released in Europe and not in US. Terranigma was released in Europe but never made it to US.
There are couple of more examples of just earlier releases, like Valkyria Chronicles.

Actually we got Agarest senki jrpg earlier than US (or rather exclusively as i think there's no news about US release)

Argh come on guys, read. The part with Terranigma, see the "latter" there? That refers to "Only we might get it" as in "only we (Europeans) might get it (and not the US as well)".

And Agarest Senki was announced for a release in US, only through PSN though. I think.

I guess worse comes to worse, import. I never have imported from Europe, though.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
