Well, I bought a Wii about 8 months ago because I wanted SMG. When it got delayed, I decided to sell it (actually traded it for a HDTV). Now I'm trying to buy another one and can't find one.

I think Nintendo is the worst of the three because of the delay and because of the shortage of Wii's. I think they're lying by saying that they can't make enough of them. I think they're just trying to create a buzz about them.

Lots of broken promises and BS and don't even get me started on Sony, lol...

Anyways in my opinion for BS it goes like this:

Sony = Nintendo >>> Microsoft

And yes Microsoft lied about RROD issue or at least refused to address it but for BS they're nowhere near the competition.

I disagree. I disagree that MS's more than a year of baldfaced lies about hardware failure, PANDEMIC hardware failure, is less bad than Sony's idiotic maneuverings or Nintendo's software promises. But more than that I disagree with the implication that the RRoD itself is less bad than the BS.

For what its worth, I don't think a delayed game should be considered a lie. Perhaps "exclusive games" that end up on all consoles might count as a lie. But even then for me it would only be in a situation where they were adamant that it was exclusive. There are delayed games all the time and it is due to development issues. It sucks to wait but it means a better game in the long run.

I think most people are aware of the examples that have been flying about as of late, so I really don't want to get into that since it will only start problems. So I will just say I am far less likely to purchase from a company that lies and hides information from their customers. If you want to extrapolate that and apply it to a given console thats on you, that is a generic statement of sentiment and one I would hope all consumers share.

What I highlighted in bold is wrong. Driver 3 was in production since the begining of PS2 and it released what sometime in 2006. That game got horrible reivews. So it sucks to wait, but it means thta the game is going to be awful in the long run.

A 6 month delay usually means a better game.  A 6 year delay does not.

Nintendo is definitely tops here. They may overcharge for the Wii but they're delivering a relatively cheap console with innovative features, though it is lacking in the games dept. (only partially their fault).

Second, I would put MS because of the RRoD problems. But, unlike other companies, they're trying pretty hard to fix things (first the one year warranty, followed by three years for RRoD). Overall, I think they're the company that is trying the hardest to make customers happy. Then again, they need to because they're still the new kids on the block and they royally f***ed their hardware.

In a very distant third is Sony. Their constant lying is well documented, none of us here need to list them all again. The entirety of SCE needs to be cleaned up, obviously Kuturagi wasn't the only problem. Their entire marketing dept. is operated by giant douches.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

In order of lameness would be like this:

Sony: Aside to what everyone has said about them up there, add on the list the "Cell is God" or "PS3 is more powerful than a $10,000 PC" crap that some children actually believe. Also overpricing their product that much, and the product delivers the same results as the other console around. Also, don't forget their DRM sh*t with their CDs... totally unrelated, but don't forget it.

Microsoft: Distant second. Failure rate as everyone has said up there. Expensive accesories considering what they do or what they are ($100 for a 20GB HDD? Is this a f*cking joke?).

Nintendo: Distant third. Virtual console are kinda expensive. Friend codes. No instant messaging app. included. No VGA/DVI out on the Wii. No high-res. mode on Internet Channel.

Sony, by far! As far as I know they have been lying about the performance of their consoles since the first PS. They have, from what I know, used FMV to demonstrate the "capabilities" of their coming consoles.

At least 62 million Wii sold by the end of 09 or my mario avatar will get sad

sony wins--micro second --and wii third

sony seems to be changing their story every five days--micro just dosent have a story and the wii only seems to get the facts crooked every now and then
