Forums - Sony - [RUMOR] PSP Go could receive price cut before release

Considering that the PSP go is $50 more than the cheapest iTouch and $80 more than a DSi, it'd be wise to drop it to the $199 price point.

They still need to bring more PS1 classics to the PS Store in Europe before the PSP Go grabs my interest. They bring the 3 Resident evils and Dino Crisis to SCEE before the end of the year and they get my money, if they don't bring them by then, well then all chances of my puchase is gone

I'll still buy it anyway

I hope they cut it by at least 50 euros, 250 is ridiculous. It's the same as a Wii, and almost the same as a PS3 Slim. I have a PSP 2000, and i'm kind curious about PSP Go, but there's no way in hell i'm paying 250 for it.

I hope they do, then I can spend that 50 on a game

No point. Then people will just complain about something else.

48$ = 8 PSOne Classics in the US. Also, since I'm in the Bahamas, I don't pay tax
