Hopefully this moves a lot of consoles and becomes platinum fast so I can buy the first one and this for the price of one. :)

Why? The first Assasins creed was the epitome of mediocrity. That's my personal opinion and it seems to be the ones of reviewers. TBH, I haven't seen anything super intresting that would push AC 2 over the edge to GOTY awards.
But if this is your personal veiws, then forgive me for questioning them.

because its doing things that R&C hasn't done before.....its increasing scope & scale, allowing space exploration...weapons customisation
Space exploration on such a scale hasn't been done this gen before
Assassin's Creed 2 looks phenomenal......
Uncharted 2 looks great.....but its doing everything thats been done before
But forgetting NSMBWii is a bit silly of us....a 2D mario ona home console after so many years may make reviewers give it the title

I personally feel that replayability is being offered on a whole new scale in R&C:CIT
Uncharted 2 offers online co-op.....but yet again, its something we have seen in other games before
remember critics won't judge Uncharted 2 on what it bring NEW to the series....but on what it may bring to GAMING
on that front R&C:CIT is innovating more

How has Uncharted 2 been done before?
It's story has never been told, it's puzzles have never been done, it's atmosphere is it's own, it's graphics and scope are Top-Of-The-Line, and it's gameplay only exists in Uncharted 1, (and that's even being changed for U2).
It's the same as every shooter, because... please help me out here.

No it's not. Not even Gears of War is very close to Uncharted's gameplay and vice versa.
AC2 will have puzzles and action gameplay. I guess that means AC2 is pretty standard, no?

I choose R&C:TOD over it at the time...... a decision I don't regret
& after that its always been sidelined....but we found it cheap in the shop

At least Uncharted uses various colors and not grey/brown.
