1.The fact that you can't see 25 new maps (5 per campaign with 5 campaigns when the original only had 4) all of them longer then the original L4D, 2.big gameplay changes, 3.and be more story based as worthy of a full priced sequel simply dumbfounds me to the point 4.I cannot take your argument seriously.  This is no rushed port, it is no expansion, 5.and there's so much content it couldn't be patches or DLC6.Honestly it just seems like you want to bash it because it's a good PC/360 exclusive, you've not hidden your bias, and when you see a thread that you think you can get away with bashing it you jump on it. 

 

Stop making this into something its not. Im not bashing, im not trolling, im not stating lies or make up facts. I made a huuuge post above for twestern where i clearly brought up what L4D2 will deliver.

  1. Like i said, if the game didn't have new maps, it would be the same exact same game. It's hardly something you can put down in the + column. But okay. New maps, great.
  2. Like what? New AI Director that makes the game a little more random? Remember, they said the first one would also be new everytime you played it, and was it? No. And like i said, after X amount of hours playing the game, you'll never get that "oh shit, they are above us" feeling anymore. Because you know they might drop down on you.
  3. Link? Because both the teams behind L4D2 and various fansites have wrote that the only "story" in the game will be the random stuff the playable characters say to eachother. This was also stated by Chet Faliszek when asked about the story in the game and the rumored cutscenes: "Chet has said that the team is "moving away" from this [cutscenes], which may mean that the movies will be short, or perhaps will be removed entirely."
  4. Why cant my reason be taken seriously? - I obviously have a more updated knowledge on the franchise and kept stating my reasons over and over again. But both you and twestern just seem to want to make this into something its not. Its not a rant, its not ment to troll or trashtalk the game. I've said that the game will probably be just as fun as the first one, but thats the problem right there. Its just as the first one.
  5. There really isnt so much content. Some of the new characters and zombies in L4D2 were suppose to have been in L4D but got cut. And new weapons are patched and put up as DLC all the time for other games. The ONLY reason i can think of why this cant be patched, is if they cant tweak the AI Director the way they want it for L4D, but had to rebuild it. And that my friend, is not worthy of 60$.
  6. OH C'MON! Why would i bash it because its a PC/360 multiplat? I know why you wrote it, but i want to hear it from you! Its not like i'll miss out on the game, its not like i have a secret mission over the internet trying to downplay 360 games, and its not like i didnt enjoy the first L4D. So lets hear it... why would i bash the game because its PC/360?

The classic "I'm gonna save face and show you how my opinion is superior with a list" is not going to work on me especially after you made multiple posts in this thread that you can't really hide.

I disagree. L4D is not worth Full price. Its the same as Millennium Championship Paintball, but with zombies. Theres no horror factor, no story, no progress, no rpg elements, nothing tactical, no depth, bad matchmaking, unbalanced versus and you can achieve Gold on all Survivor challenges without breaking a sweat.

Yes lets take a picture of a low budget game and say its the same as Left 4 Dead that's not trolling at all.

Again, what was new with L4D2? Oh yeah. Some new characters, weapons, and maps.

Trying to over simplify things to make your point is so elementary. 

And as for what you reposted, lets see, lets take Mario, give him some platforms to jump on, and save a princess, there we go now we have SMG!  But wait isn't that the same game I played before!!! Hey... this plays nothing like the other Mario game cause they changed things how did they do that and keep the same formula *stamps off*

If you even read some of my posts where L4D2 has a lot of fixes for the tournament community you would somewhat understand how drastic the gameplay changes really are, if you have played L4D you would realize, that the first L4D has been played so much that people have figured out that the survivors have the advantage in versus mode, that new infected had to be created to balance this out, add to that fact they've made all the maps longer which will help against the typcial race to the safehouse that has started on the pro level with MLG.  And you don't seem to see 25 new maps and all the extra content as enough content for another game astonishes me, because another 5 or 6 gigs for a "patch" or "DLC" would be stupid.  The fact that most DLC averages out to costing more then buying a new retail game is also an issue here.

L4D is meant to be about tactics and that's what the sequel wants to hit harder on so people like the MLG community can play it on a professional level since people love to play Valve games professionally.
