What? According to some people, IX is everything that Final Fantasy is and that's my favorite of the series. So it's not me lacking taste, it's Squaresoft/Square-Enix not knowing what the important essence of the series is, which resulted in disappointing games.

He probably thinks you rated VIII too highly.

1)ff vii this was the first i played thats y it gets the number 1
2)ff vi was just awesome
3)ff ix love the job class system
4)ff x was real cool had ever thing was good xcept (kimari)
5)ff v loved loved it

played the others but hardly remeber them so wont rank them but i played xii and that was the worst 1 ever hate that battle system

there is no final fantasy i don't cherish
1) FF VIII (best game ever made in history !)
2) FF X (almost best game ever made by human hands)
3) FF VII ( very close to being the best game ever made in this world)
4) FF IX ( i don't know why i'm making this list i love all final fantasy's almost equally)
5) ah what the heck screw this ( FFI,FFII,FFIII,FFIV,FFV,FFVI,FFXII love them all!!!)

I really didn't like Final Fantasy 8 (VIII) or 10 (X)

Final Fanatasy 6 (VI) and 7 (VII) are the best RPG's I've played.

You really like talking nonsense dont you? Final Fantasy is a Franchise which means it is a series of titles.  If I dont like 1 it doesnt mean I dislike the FRANCHISE.  You like a franchise when you like MOST of its "products" not necessarily ALL of them.

It is obvious you really like FFIX, but I DONT.
