I prefer the DC controls more than the Wii remotes X_X.

DC controller is still my favorite normal controller. Wii mote wins overall.
Predictions for 2009: (Right) (Wrong) (Partial)
Pokemon Gold/Silver DS Japan in September
NES colored Wii and SNES Classic Controler for Christmas
Super Role Bros for Christmas
FF Remakes announced; VII PS3 VIII 360 IX Wii
New Super Mario World November 2009
Radiant Silvergun is definitely a great game. I also liked Thunderforce V. The fighters are really good too, I just hope you got the RAM cart too (I forgot if it was 1MB or 4MB?) for some of the games.
Too bad my Saturn bit the dust a few years ago :( I should probably pick up a used JP Saturn, since there are so many used SS games around here, hehe. I want to play Dragon Force II (I only played 1 back in the day!)

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

as one of those who owned the saturn during its time I'd say everthing mentioned so far is worth checking out and I'll add
Dark Savior
shining the holy ark
astal
clockwork Knight 1+2
Deep Fear
shinobi legions
Darius Gaiden
albert odyssey
I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!
NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of the good games for the system have been mentioned already, but I'll elaborate a bit and add a few.
Astal: A beautiful and innovative platformer. With co-op!
Clockwork Knight 1 & 2; Bug!; Bug Too!: Other Sega platformers, but they're not as good as Astal. Still worth picking up, though, as they're dirt-cheap and amusing for a couple of hours each.
NiGHTS: You fly around and collect stuff. Also an incredibly attractive game.
Panzer Dragoon games: The first two are rail shooters, and they're two of the best rail shooters ever made. The third is a free-form-flying RPG, but it also costs far too much money.
Dragon Force; Albert Odyssey; Shining Force 3; Shining the Holy Ark; Blazing Heroes/Mystaria: All excellent RPGs which are more than worth the money (except maybe SF3, which is also horribly expensive.)
Shinobi Legions: Perhaps the best Shinobi game ever made. At least, I like to think so. Awesome 2D ninja action.
Legend of Oasis: Sequel to Beyond Oasis for the Genesis. A cross between Zelda and a Final Fight/Streets of Rage-esque beat 'em up. Doesn't do much of anything different from the Genesis game, but it's still excellent for what it does.
Fighters Megamix: The best fighter available for the system. Go get it.
Saturn Bomberman: The best version of Bomberman available, but only worth it if you're willing to shell out $40+ for a 6-player multitap (not to mention extra for all of those controllers) in addition to the price of the game.
The Horde: An interesting, but flawed, action/strategy game. Worth playing if you're interested in something unusual.
You can also pretty easily mod a Saturn and play some good import games (The other two Shining Force 3 scenarios, Grandia, Princess Crown, and about 50 billion shmups.)
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

Some Games I loved:
Panzer Dragoon and PZ Saga
Daytona USA championship edition
Virtua Fighter II
Virtual On
Samurai Showdown (this series is arguable one of the best 2d fighters EVER)

Have you ever heard of use? Obviously not. Did you own a Saturn? Nope, you weren't even born yet. Go away.

The ones in bold, plus: If you can get your hands on a gun controller: Virtua Cop 1 & 2, House of the Dead Virtua Fighter 2 (classic) |
Ditto on the gun and virtua cop/house of the dead. If you get a dreamcast also, VC2 and House of the dead are better games...
