Not really, though both are Treasure games. Guardian Heroes is mostly a beat-em-up like Double Dragon or Streets of Rage, but it had RPG elements and 2.5D gameplay.

I liked all those TMNT beat em ups. The version they showed was the Nes version I think.

But the Snes and Genesis version were awesome too!!
