The Fable III announcement and the retooling of the Splinter Cell franchise.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Scrbblenauts.

My initial reaction to the PS3 Slim sales selling 550k: "I do not accept these sales".

I guess most of you would of also felt shocked by those high numbers and probably expected the number would be under 400k?

Halo: Reach and Final Fantasy XIV.

No idea why people are saying the PS3 Slim and PSP Go unless it is sarcasm...

Information about both of them was leaked months before they were announced and a PS3 Slim was obviously going to happen as soon as Sony announced the PS3 fat back in 2005 or w/e.

PS3 Slim came out of no where. Not a single warning

OT: FFXIV

4 ≈ One

PsP GO! priced at 249$(?)

Yeah.  Def Batman AA.  Infamous was pretty cool too though.  Suprisingly.

#1: Probably FF14. I kinda don't even believe the game's real. I've never seen so many people laughing at a game announcement because they thought it was a joke.

#2: The first 2-D Mario game on a big screen in nearly 20 years, and getting to play it within an hour of its announcement. That blew my mind.

#3: The PS3 finally competing. I thought they'd given up!

Scribblenauts and loads of E3 (Metroid, Natal, FF14...)

I blame Wii Fit...+!!!
