@simulacrum, vermilion is my favorite as well. in toshinden 2 he wore a tattered trench coat and used a pistol and a full length double barrel shotgun. in toshinden 3 he wore a tuxedo with red markings and used a pistol and a short double barreled shotgun. the boss of 2 was master that used giant energy swords so i think you are talking about veil from 3. i dont remember what veil had just that he played like abel.

if you can get a hold of toshinden4/subaru you should play it. ive got the japanese version myself. it is generally very fast paced and uses a different system than the others. my only problem with it is that all but two of the original cast were not in it. the only two left from the originals are eiji and vermilion .

maybe someday they will release the old toshinden games on psn. i highly doubt it though.

i didnt like how verm played in 3, he got the short straw. he couldnt combo at all iirc.he did have acid splash and the taser wires to make up for it though. i could pull some sick stuff with abel and veil. i was also pretty good with rungo and adam. david was awesome as the first charcter i had seen in a fighting game that used a chainsaw as his weapon. nagisa was fun to play as. my friends considered him cheap until they tried playing as him and realized he is nothing special.did you ever unlock naru, kayins daughter?

and now im asking what it is you dont like. and you never answered me. this thread is to discuss the franchise of toshinden. if you have an opinion explain it.

I did tell you. I said I did not like what I saw and you screamed "biased!" and "troll!" The new game has no videos, it has no playable demo. There are only some old screens to go off of. And I did not like what I saw in them. It's not my fault you can't handle that.
