Now, lemme ask you: you're Mafia. You are pretty sure you want to kill either insomniac or WoW, but one of them is being protected by the doctor. Who do you kill?

Err, I haven't been doing the whole "Day 2" thing... Oops. 
The way I see it is that they could kill me off, thus confirming me to be a cop, they could let me live, thus making myself seem suspicious because I could be mafia who claims to be a cop, or they could have one of them claim to be a cop and contest me, hoping that the town will get rid of me and believe their "cop." I think that letting me live seems to be the most likely course, but ya never know.

If I was mafia and not a simple townie, I would kill... Gnizmo. I don't know why, but Gnizmo just seems like the deserving type.

Precisely. You go for someone else altogether, avoiding the chance of missing your kill. Right now the Mafia won't be gunning for people who get the doctor's priority protections: they'll be gunning for the doctor.

Okay, what two reasons now? And there is no reverse psychology, I assure you.
Your other reason would be... If you're not mafia then you could be... Well, if you are, then I don't want to say it either. I'm still pretty suspicious of you though. You don't seem to have any good reason for accusing me.

Even if they get the doctor tonight, we still have two days before they kill both your big brain and insomniac's magnifying glass: that is three potential eliminations, either of members who are Mafia or members who are not.
We can win this if we play it cool.

Why would the mafia target you right now. So far you have pointed out nothing conclusively suspicious. The net results of our actions were somewhere close to neutral for yesterday. Unless I missed a role claim somewhere in this thread I would say it is safe to assume you are off the hit list for any special reason.
Thinking about the potential situations for dtewi is giving me a head ache though. We should definitely set a rule for banned people next game. That way at least its not trying to guess at a thousand possible scenarios.
