If there's one available in Japan already then why would Sony have a problem with something similar everywhere?

That really isn't any different then how the PS3 is now. Hell, I can use the Internet Browser to view pornography without the need for age verification depending on what website I choose to go to.

The only difference would be that kids now have to pay for it if they want to get it from Sony.

You're making the invalid assumption that the people who would make a fuss about this are rational.

 

Bill O'Reilly makes a fuss any time porn becomes accessible in a new way, while showing as much scantily clad women as possible for added journalistic integrity.

NO! Insted they should do this. Sony should push Vivid (and other porn companies) to release Porn on Blu Ray instead. Because whatever medium Porn exists on, the people will follow..i.e. more people would buy PS3s.
