My guess is the PS3 slim will help Sony close the gap on the 360 by about 1.5 million units by years end; with the PS3 slim outselling the 360 on an average of about 100,000 units per week.

3 million, PS3 sales will explode this holiday world wide if the 360 keeps it's current price.

I'm guessing the gap will be cut by half...the PS3 will be 4-4.5 million units short of the 360 but that gap will also grow smaller with the mega release of God of War 3.

4 millions : FF13, GT5, slim boost....PS3 will outsell 360 for many, many weeks, and just in the holiday they'll recover 1-2 millions.
