As you may know, the new and returning 2009 fall TV shows are coming very soon and most people (especially me) are kinda pissed at many networks for different reasons this season.
For Instance:
ABC:
The reason why people are pissed at them: Canceling Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone, etc. in favor of bulls**t reality shows like Shark Tank, Dancing with the Stars, etc. (If you like those, don't hiss at me). To make it up, new shows like FlashForward, V, Cougar Town & Modern Family (featuring Ed O'Neill aka Al Bundy) could interest me.
CBS:
I really don't watch CBS that much until I watch the Monday Night comedy reruns and I enjoy them. I'm not much of a NCIS fan, but it seems like they might find similar successes like CSI & NBC's Law & Order, even though NCIS is a spin-off from JAG. Confusing, isn't it?
The CW:
Now here's a network that really pisses me off to a new level, they cancel shows like Reaper, Privileged, Everybody Hates Chris & The Game for these vapid new shows like Melrose Place (you already got 90210 and both of them are pretty crappy), The Beautiful Life: TBL (A show about models living the ugly side of modeling, which seems boring), and The Vampire Diaries (a TV version of "Twilight"). It seems these shows only attract women 16-34 since they said it. At least they kept Supernatural & Smallville, although I doubt CW give them another year after this season. So what I'm saying it, "F**K the CW! Y'all gotten sh***y".
FOX:
So far, everybody has a beef with Fox for canceling Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles but they kept Dollhouse. So far they haven't announced another reality show, which is good because not everybody wants to see that. New shows include Glee, a not-so-High-School-Musical comedy series; The Cleveland Show, an animated sitcom which is a spin-off of Family Guy involving Cleveland Brown (meaning The Simpsons are the only animated sitcom not made by Seth MacFarlane since KITH is dead.) Also, Brothers,( or the last hope for an African-American Sitcom) is premiering. I sensed something bad for that show.
MyNetworkTV has given up on new programming shows, so I'll skip that.
NBC:
Seeing Jay Leno 5 times a week on 10/9 where some deserving dramas should be at? No, Thanks. Maybe on Thursday but not every damn night. Good News: Chuck is coming back, Community looks good with Joel McHale (The Soup is amazing), Deal or No Deal is dead (see it on syndication), 30 Rock entering fourth season after 22 Emmy Nominations. Bad News: My Name Is Earl is canceled after a cliffhanger, so is Life, Chuck won't come back until 2010, Jay Leno 5x a week, New series Trauma & Mercy (the latter is originally a midseason) & The Biggest Loser.
So this is how I feel about the fall line-up, how do you feel? Speak all in this forum.
