Obviously you are not alone, but there are many, many people that disagree with your views. I, for one, am impressed with the Wii library and am back into games thanks to the little white beast. There are many others that hold this opinion.

For me, it has the strongest, most varied library of games, with a variety of simple and complex control possibilites: from full body control, to motion plus, to IR, to side-on NES style to standard controls.

It would be good for people to recognise that the gamer market is not homogenous and that there are multiple interpretations of a good library. Only childish views would say otherwise.

Butthurt after a single week's worth of sales?

I find it hard to believe unless they are extremely pitiful or short-sighted.

Will see what happens, but I think by the time the PS3 comes close to the 360, the 720 will be close to be released :P

^^ As well as pre-mature overenthusiastic, unrealistic Sony ones......ehhh......  It comes full circle when awesome sales take effect for a members console of choice.  I am happy for Sony, and am really excited to see what they bring for me to enjoy on my Phat. 

Sheesh though......it feels like MGS$ release week all over again.

The real question is........

I wonder if (when) MS begins to combat the Slims currrent success, if as many members will leave/stop posting on the site as when the 360 Arcade dropped to $199 and those same fans said it wouldnt make a difference.  Subsequently, we lost a lot of members over the holiday Wii/360 dominated season.  I wonder if the same will hold true for 360 fans......we shall see.  

It is actually starting to take effect already, just take a look at posts/views in anything 360 releated in color.....  Oh well, I will stick by my 360, best console this gen (IMO).  As a gamer, I can intelligently look at my 360 game library and state that with enthusiastic confidence. 

Microsoft is trying harder to win 2nd place than Sony is, and for that reason i say Xbox 360 will stay in 2nd place.

Yeah I think Sony actually want to make a profit this gen. No way can Sony afford a $199 PS3 next year. Microsoft have barely managed to cut prices this year.

Seriously Xbox fanboys, give it up. PS3 will come in second this gen. The ONLY thing holding it back up to this point was the price. It has the amazing game library (which will be better this year with U2, FF XIII, GT5), great online, Blu-ray playback, web browsing, photo viewing, music playing capability,and much, much more!

People who don't see more value in the PS3 now are either blinded by the US media or have boners for Halo, Gears, and Valve.

Sony cut 100 dollars and so did MS, What the hell are you talking about. And didnt we say Sony couldnt cut $100 this year too, I remember you say the most they can cut is $50.
