It opens up a lot of possibilities, but let's hope that companies don't go overboard with this. I could definitely see Capcom, Square and maybe someone like Namco jumping on board, though.

Just a question. I aint a dev so i dont really know about these things or the legal matters behind it but wouldnt someone like Capcom make it multiplat?


I know its a stupid question but i am being serious. I know the 360 doesnt have a blu ray but if they wanted to could they like put PS2 games on the 360?

New Play Control Pikmin and Pikmin 2, as well as Mario Tennis.  Both acclaimed games updated with motion control that makes sense, and yet people just call Nintendo lazy and say it's all they do.

But anyway, don't wanna derail the thread.  Hopefully Capcom improves some of their games for PS3.

About Okami and RE4, maybe they could to it with PS Mote. Everyone says how better they worked on Wii, I would be interested.

Hmm Sony has really pulled a good move, starting this whole.. PS2 remastered games business. I believe Sony still has some more strategies to pull. I don't think PS3 Slim is their last move, albeit a big move, but not their last.
