I sure as hell loved infamous and so did most people who played it on this site.  Which makes me just scratch my head and say why the hell did it sell so bad i know they advertised it a lot during the nba playoffs so what the hell is the ps3 user base to spread out meaning people who bought it just for a blu ray player and just for a certain type of game say rpg fps or something else.  It just seems wierd to me that stupid xbox games sell better that are pretty weak like Sega Superstars Tennis.

It was a new IP in a genre that isn't as hot as it used to be.

Crackdown, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Prototype, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, and others take away from inFamous' uniqueness. That's my take, anyway.

It came out at a slow time for game sales.

It should pick up during the holidays, so, it should pass one million.

That makes some sense but really i thought 1.5 mil would have been achieved in first 10 weeks from a business stand point it would make no sense and would probably make them not regret not going multi plat they couldn't have much money on the game being exclusive people who have a ps3 really need to buy more of the good games out there so we get more sequels and exclusives. Showing we as a community are committed to it.

DW it will pass 1m and if you look @ the new IP's like Uncharted,heavenly sword etc....infamous actually sold better compared to them just look @ uncharted First week sales and Infamous and see how uncharted is now@ 2.5m.

I think it will have long legs, or at least hoping that anyway. Once it hit platinum/greatest hits that is.

as shown... this game is selling on par with expectations... I'd even say its above them. Average expectations are 1.3 million and I'd its headed past that.

Sega Tennis was bundled through the holidays, don't compare with that.
