I dont think Xbox will win RPG's this gen at all. There's actually more upcoming Japanese RPG's on PS3 than Xbox and TGS should be revealing. It's Western style RPG's where the Xbox is ahead at the moment. And lots of the RPG's Xbox had are now multi-platform like Tales of Vesperia and Star Ocean.

You're spot on at the moment. It's why TGS is so interesting. I expect a fair few RPG's announced.

Yeah if you live in Japan. As of right now there is no word on the PS3 version beign localized outside Japan.

Star Ocean:TLH is not on anything but Xbox 360. What have you been smoking son!?

 

AS for OP I do agree that Xbox 360 is a beast when it comes to RPG titles this gen.

 



 How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect &  PS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

The PC could very well be right behind the Nintendo DS in terms of RPG variety & quality

Tons? Apart from MMORPGs, what are all those PC exclusive RPGs? See, I'm primarily a PC gamer and I don't know of any (Diablo 3 everyone knows about, but in my world it's not even a bona fide RPG, now crucify me).

Star Ocean will get announced for PS3 at TGS. I say again the PS3 has more upcoming exclusive RPG's than Xbox.
