surprising. I didn't think superhero games sold anymore

Spoiler:
Judging by the end of the game with references to Harvey Dent robbing the bank and Scarecrow getting his hands on the titan, I think it's a pretty safe bet we can expect a sequel.

A great game - highly recommended. Very polished throughout and while there are a few niggles, given the approach and effort they are fairly minimal, and just mean we're likely to see an even better Batman game in the future.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
A lesson for all those who use and abuse franchises.
Good Game + Good Franchise = SALE

^^
Boss battles are erratic in nature and fall prey to usual boss battle syndrome - once you work out the repeat/rinse formula to beat them its an exercise in dull repetition (on a side note, can we ditch boss battles?)
Some textures are a little bland here and there
Suffers a little bit from Uncharted syndrome - how many similar thugs are there on this island for me to fight?
You don't get to use vehicles - I want to drive the batmobile.
The detective side could have been a little stronger - it was there, but spoon fed to you.
However, the other 92% of the game is great, which is why I'd rate it 92% myself. I have to especially mention Mark Hamill's voice work as the Joker - simply wonderful and one of the best voice performances for a game ever.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
