I just bought this tv a couple of days ago and it game in today. The quality isn't bad at all, when I first got it it didn't look 100%. I changed some settings around and put Killzone in and watched the opening. It looked perfect!

You can get a better picture with a higher speced TV but for the money it is a great deal, I am completely satisfied.
Dell might still have the deal for $450.

Best value out there (for a tier 1 TV).

Yeah pretty much the same as mine http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9222646&type=product&id=1218062424206

I was looking at that tv too but this one went on sale. Samsungs are pretty good TVs though, cheaper than Sony's for about the same product.

Sorta expensive, dontcha think? Although...the OP is an engineer.

If you're going to get LED, might as well go with Samsung, though. Samsung beats LG is virtually everything (yes, even washers and dryers!)

^samsung have a bad service.
=(.
i am telling you this by experience.
