Some of you may remember my previous threads when I passed some other "milestones" such as 1000 hours, 1 year, 2000 hours.... and I don't think I made one for 2 years.
Anyhow, as of the end of August I have exceeded 3000 hours use on my Wii console (not including time spent in the Wii menu or on GameCube games)

August 2009 is also the first month I have not spent any time at all on Mario Kart Wii since it's launch back in April 2008.

First, a short breakdown by year for the categories of the time recorded, those being Wii games, which is anything played through the disc channel except GameCube games, and also includes the Mario Kart Channel if you download it to the menu. Wii channels, which is all the applications like internet channel, shop channel etc. Wiiware games (obvious). Virtual Console games (obvious) and "Other" which is recorded whenever you use 10 seperate channels/games in a single day, so I can't be certain which games or channels it refers to..... I also lumped the Metroid Prime 3 Preview channel into this section as I only spent about 30 minutes on it and don't deem it a proper application channel.

In the Wii Message Board, Khuutra. He probably logged over a dozen hours on his Wii just checking how many hours he logged.

I've probably gone over a thousand. But I haven't played it more than a couple hundred this year. This is due to not being able to get any games. There seem to be a lot of cool games, yet I can't get any. :/

The only way I know how to check it is to manual add up all the times that are given every day that are shown on the Wii message thing.

Which would take quite a while with almost 900 days to go through.

He probably checks through his history and records it. At least I do that. The only game I have played every month (since October last year) is SSBB.

Wii Menu, click the envelope, click the "today's achievments" envelope (only appears if you have done something on that day)

The tables above are the sum total of all my "today's achievments" messages.... it took me a long time in total to compile it (though it has been done in chunks of 1-5 months long)

And yes I probably spent 15 or so hours just logging this onto a spreadsheet... none of that 15 hours is counted by the way.

You get some fucking mileage out of your games. 200 hours on RE4? 70+ on Metroid Prime 3? I mean what are you doing in these games? You can beat Metroid Prime 3 with 100% collection in like 20 hours, less if you know what you're doing. I mean more power to you, it's just alot of time spent on a few games.

My total time usage (as of end of August) is 446.2h. Thats counting Wii, WiiWare, VC and GC (save time) games. I've bought my Wii October last year.
