So here I thought PC games were always the cheapest but it looks like Acti-Blizzard wants to change things.

I pre-ordered Starcraft 2 in August for $49.99. Luckily Amazon offered pre-order price gurantee!

Activision at it again...

SC2 is a premium product. Activ-Blizz pretty much is just taking advantage. While the game will sell boatloads I suspect it's other areas will see a reduced overall income from the game if it was just the standard price.

So it's gonna cost $180 to play the entire Starcraft II campaign?

That's starcraft though. That's as elite as they come- it's only natural that the developers would want to get all the money they can out of a product that is both exclusive to the PC and is the sequel to one of the most played games evar

PC is the best. Always the best.
Only thing to admire consoles is play innovation.
