It's well done but I don't like it, it looks a bit cheesy to me.

but everyone else on the internet seems to jizz their pants for this ad so I may just be weirder than I thought

My pants are not jizzed   But I still liked the ad a lot and can't wait to play this game! I'm gonna trade in CoD:WaW and get an additional 35% trade-in credit when I get ODST!

Test builts for the movie?

Incredible advert. I'm not into Halo, but that ad just got interested in Halo 3: ODST. MS & 360 has some of the best ads out there this gen.

One of the best ads this Gen. Regardless of console affiliation or preference, you have to admit. Between Halo and Gears, MS has pumped out some of the best marketing this gen, hands down!

Damn, that gave me a few goose bumps. No idea what they were saying but I could feel the emotion from them. Great advert and I can't wait to see more. We NEED a halo movie and we need it fricking now!!!! Whoever hired these guys at M$ needs a raise! ESP.. if they also did the Believe adds too.

Did anyone else get a Battlestar Galactica feel from this? The new one not the old cheesy one.

I thought they were going bare bones with the advertising?

I guess not anymore.

It's just that simple.

It looks like it was made in Eastern Europe...cheap!  Look at District 9, which was filmed in SA and prodced by Weta for 30 million...lol...better than some $150 million movies.
