Forums - Microsoft - Toshiba decides to toally ditch the 360 HD-DVD and puts out Blu ray player

It's still only about 30% of consumers have 1080p TV's 40" or bigger. Most people really can't tell the difference between DVD-quality or HD on their current setups. I have a 42" 720p and the difference is marginal between Blu-Ray, HD-DVD and DVD upscaled on either player. Blu-Ray's gonna be slow on the uptake still, especially as the economy continues to flounder and consumer spending stays relatively low.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
