With the introduction of our BDX2000 we are offering consumers what they want with a breath-taking HD viewing experience to meet the needs of today's home theater."

The European version will have the model number BDX2000KE will have a list price of €269. Availability will be in December 2009 or January 2010, because the first production run will go to North America to cover the holidays shopping season.

It's just relevant b/c MS has publicly said on multiple occasions that HD-DVD is the wave of the future and b/c MS supported them.  Where else should I put this?

MS never said HDDVD was the future. They said digital downloads are the future.
There was a demand for a media player for the 360 and they couldn't get bluray since its sony, so they got HDDVD. They gave choice to consumers that wanted to watch HD movies...nothing less nothing more.

Mad? Over what? I already have a PS3 that plays BRs. Why would I care about this? It's in the wrong section and has nothing to do with Microsoft. That's what folks are having some issues with.
