I don't think any Halo game is in HD yet, but I would certainly buy the first one. God damn that would be awesome. I'd seriously pay for Gold just to play CE online again with a big community.

Well I already got Halo CE from Games on Demand, and have Halo 3, so if they make Halo 2 with achievements available separately, and patch achievements into Halo CE, I'd buy Halo 2!

I've already beat them all multiple times, but a slight touching up and achievements added would be enough to get me on board!
