How are you "pushed into agreeing to a no-win situation"? I mean, we all have self-determination, I never enter a bet I know I don't have at least a fair chance to win. Backing off when it was already set, though...not something I approve. I don't blame Carl here, I mean, if the other agrees to anything, well, more fun

Still, I would have liked the bet to keep on

So, that means we pick the 8 first weeks OF EACH REGION of NSMBWii, Wii Fit Plus, GT5 and MW2 (one version), and if if GT5+MW2 are more you lose and viceversa?

I'm asking, that, if, suppose GT5 launches 3 weeks later on NA than JP (just assume it), you count 5 weeks of NA or you wait till 8 weeks have passed for each region and then add totals. I'm just asking that in case of staggered launches

I didn't con him, i just took the really dumb bet he gave for people, and turned it around on him. And as you can see, he didn't like it.

I agree with you on the "dumb" part though.

And backing out from the bet now means i will take nothing he ever says, seriously.

You successfully, but falsely, made him believe that his challenge of 'ok, change anything but the games and I will take your bet' allowed you to make the bet you did.  He wouldn't have agreed if he didn't believe he'd already promised to, which he didn't, because your claim that your bet was in compliance with his terms was wrong. 

Therefore, if you did it on purpose (maybe you didn't and honestly thought you were within his requirements) then you conned him.
