As long as it's the same combat as fallout 3 ill be happy. I just hope Obsidian won't ruin it.

You know I dropped a small lifetime in Fallout 3 and all the expansions and still have 6 or so more achievements to finish out (not sure I'll ever get around to it). Fallout 3 was an excellent, excellent game, but I might just be...MAYBE...done with it.

That is at least why my excitement for the vegas addition is a little subdued.

Its not till 2010 sometime, but I'll get it as long as its like Fallout 3 but with a new story of course.

Hopefully we'll see something about when Alpha Protocol is released.

....You.... you really have no idea, do you.

Obsidian, aside from being the current house of Chris Avellone, the best English writer in the entire industry today except for maybe Tim Schafer, is composed primarily of the most important members of Black Isle Studios. Black Isle Studios being the people who made Fallout and Fallout 2, still two of the most respected RPGs in the history of the genre.

Gameplay and tech, I don't know. Obsidian's not great at tech. But that's why they're working with Bethesda.

In terms of writing, and in terms of just being a great game? Obsidian is my go-to company, period, no questions asked. This is Fallout coming back into the hands of its creators. We're going to be seeing something fantastic.

Obsidian did a great job on KOTOR II, so I have no worries that they can handle Fallout, especially considering some of their staff worked on the originals. Should be interesting to see how Alpha Protocol turns out too.

This is the first time I've heard about it. Might be they stealth delayed it.
