I went to the PSN to see if I could try some new demos on my PSP and I also wanted to take a look on the PSP games, which are currently downloadable. I saw Wild Arms XF and wanted to take a look closer at it and well.. I accidentally pushed the X button and now I'm the owner of Wild Arms XF. The old credit card information was still stored (because of Final Fantasy VII) and my father told me, that his credit card is not valid anymore (he was clearly wrong), so I handled it a bit careless.

My question is, if it's actually good or at least playable..

My first and only Japanese strategy game was Jeanne d'Arc (apart from Valkyria Chronicles) and I loved it!

Wild Arms is a great franchise, I have bought XF recently but have not yet played it. For all intents and purposes the hex system should translate really well to SRPG formula. I believe it had some good reviews.

This thread just made me buy Wild Arms 1... I'm not sure why... but thank you... I was on the edge for weeks.

Dgc you do kno there is a PS2 remake of WA1 right...but if you liike classic the original is a must
