Forums - Sony - What needs to be changed for Suikoden 6 ....?

I am hoping the people you have recruited have an affect on the strength of armies (like Suiko3) unlike suiko 5 where beyond adding their skill the strength (number) does seem to change.

I would also like the current level to affect the strength of armies.

I am not much bothered by random encounters as champion runes and great firefly rune if available early on tend to fix the issue.

They need to announce the game first. I wonder what's taking so long. Suikoden 5 was one of my favorite PS2 games. 3 was damned good as well. I hope the game is well into production and Konami's simply holding an announcement until TGS...

@Soriku

Both Suikoden 3 and 5 are awesome. Suikoden 4 on the other hand has too many random battles combined with some awkward controls for the ship this makes it hard to recommend. Story and gameplay wise very few come close to Suikoden IMHO.

If you had a PS3 I would recommend suikoden 1 on PSN. Best $5.99 I spent on a game (aside from Wild Arms 1).

Soriku get Wild Arms: Alter Code F( enhanced remake) for PS2

No more random battles, have something akin to persona 3/4.

That you can choose a party of 6 and STICK WITH IT, I HATED the part in 5 when you needed three parties of 6.

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

Just be as good as Suikoden I and II. Those were the games. After that it went downhill.

It's still one of the most interesting franchises, though.

Looking forward to: FF Versus XIII / LBP2 / The Last Guardian / Yakuza 4 / ICO Collection

Do you actually compare Suikoden I to II?

Suikoden 1 was a good game.
Suikoden 2 was a masterpiece of plot, characters, music (the special boss themes are of the best in the genre), pacing and other stuff.

they should just make the game.

it's been too long already since the last one.

Good thing about Suikoden was fighting those battles you're not meant to win :) I'd play the game again just to level up to beat the enemy to see the other side of the coin. :) Good example was Suikoden 2 (Main and sister fight troops outside grandpas house) and 5 (Fight a mid boss escaping castle). :D

Good to see this site is still going
