Forums - Gaming - Microsoft loses another exclusive!

Screenlife and Warner have revealed that the latest iteration of Scene It? (Microsoft's Buzz rival) will be the first in the series to go multiplatform.

Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen! will be the first game in the franchise available for Wii and PlayStation 3 alongside a 360 release.

"Previous success on the Xbox platform combined with casual gaming's explosive growth create a tremendous opportunity for Screenlife to bring its unique brand of entertainment trivia game play to millions of new consumers," says the release.

Trivia content will include recently released 2009 movies as well as movies from the last four decades, while game improvements are said to be:

* Thousands of new questions

* A new and improved single player option

* Party play modes

* Many new puzzle types

* 12 all-new player avatars

* A simplified game interface

* A new, entertaining game host

* New, unique mini-game content

Screenlife has also inked a deal with Warner that will see it become the worldwide distribution of Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen!

They have probably realized that kind of game isn't what sells consoles, so why pay for exclusivity any more?

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

First Ninja Gaiden II and now Scene It?. This marks the second time a Microsoft published game/series has gone multiplatform.

Interesting.

^ no, not really that interesting.

Fuck, they're doomed for sure.

Interesting.

It's interesting 2 modestly successful games are looking for a bigger audience?

I expected more posts. Should I put the title as " Microsoft has lost another exclusive, console war officially over!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!1!1!"?

I wasn't aware this was a console game at all, much less an exclusive. My gal has the Disney version on DVD, she kills me on it all the time. 360 is domed confirmed?

That game was exclusive? Who really cares?
