It's harder to break when you stay in the closet hahahahaha I didn't say it, Sony and Microsoft did

I was going to say something along these lines just not as bluntly! haha. If I get banned again it will probably be for 3 months so I gotta be real careful.

but seriously the numbers presentred in this thread make sense, rrod has being droping  the early ps3 model are now starting to break and the wii well is doing good

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Around the Network

Wii's capabilities are primitive?

It has the latest tech of any of the 3 consoles.

360/PS3 have GPUs based on 5-6 year old tech. Wii-mote and M+ are far less primitive than the twins with their 25yr old controllers.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

At launch many units were already dead on arrival, I believe nearly all launch units died by now judging from the people I know personally and people I talked to.

My, how unscientific.

If you prefer, an inside source:

"Q: So what do you think the real failure rate of the Xbox 360 is? Some have estimated it as high as 30%. I got my Xbox in early 2007 and so far so good but what do you think the chance is that it's going to die on me one day.

It's around 30%, and all will probably fail early. This quarter they are expecting 1 M failures, most of those Xenons. Some of those are repeat failures. Life expectancy is all over the map because the design has very little margin for most of the important parameters. That means it's not a fault tolerant design. So a good unit may last a couple of years, while a bad unit can fail in hours."

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

An unnamed and uncomfirmed source (outside a claim by the article writer) whose true motivations and position on the Xbox team are entirely unknown.  Its anecdotal evidence, just like your "I believe nearly all lauch units are dead" because of "people" you "know personally" and "talked to".

You leap pretty far in your statements based on the nature of what you have provided.
