No, I'm willing to pick it up the day its released. I bet there is a large percentage of people who pay a few dollars to reserve a copy and never show up. That's where the real money is!

I pre-order so it seems like I'm paying less when I pick it up.

Nowadays...top games are rarely soldout in my area...but I can fully understand that it's on a region by region basis.

oh that's true, niche games also....i did that for cross edge cause i didn't think they would have as many copies as they did.

ive never preordered a game. i generally dont see it as worth it. a few of my friends preorder every game they can. i dont care about the little extras unless they are something amazing and not just some plastic piece of crap i could easily make myself. on the other hand im not a huge fan of most of the games that get preorder bonuses. if toshinden somehow gets a preorder bonus that will be the first time i preordered something.

I've done that twice.

The first time i preordered a game was with Zelda Wind Waker, all because it will came with Zelda Master Quest!!

The Second time was a few months ago with Resident Evil Collector Edition for NA !!

I have only ever preordered one game and that was SSBB and I was pissed because right after it got delayed for like 4 months!

I would have more than that, but I canceled my J&D PSP (it doesn't look so good) and LBP PSP (no multiplayer wtf) pre-orders to pre-order the God of War Collection and Pokemon SoulSilver, both of which finally got put in the system today.
