If Google makes their own OS would they ask Sony to manufactor comps for them?

Probably not since I believe you can watch those in opera, normally. Yet it doesn't work on Opera PS3. It seems to be a very much compressed version of Opera, not sure why since I'm sure the PS3 can handle more whilst it's not running other apps/games. 

Maybe I'm wrong though and Opera inherantly can't play hulu 'and that stuff' in which case you probably could on Chrome PS3. 

Further on this topic Chrome is a fantastic browser. It does indeed lack certain functionalty but in terms of it's weight (system resources/load time) it's far superior to IE/Opera/FF (as that benchmark graph displays) the only reason I like firefox is cause it's Open source, which is nice I suppose.

Well since they ditched "install other OS" they could at least replace it with "install other browser". I've managed to do everything using the PS3 browser I've wanted to do so far, it's just that it is not as good as FF.

Notice how FF = Fire Fox and Final Fantasy?

Many people will suffer from the where's-the-blue-e issue. We're all computer-literate here, but a minority of computer users (especially those who buy prebuilts) think IE IS the internet.

that is only for the EU, unless Microsoft decided otherwise (which I doubt).

 

Now Sony needs to get Chrome on the PS3 and everything will be a-ok.
