even on the Atari 2600?

DS really seems like the natural choice with the stylus probable being the best thing to emulate the brush from Okami

Hopefully this will find success on the haldheld consoles

Not happy. I have no time for handhelds.

I play my DS and PSP more than my home consoles. However, that being said, I'd rather see a project like this be for a home console. Any innovation that can be made to the painting on DS could be done on Wii.

IDK, they pretty much exhausted the story in okami, what can come next, a prequel? it is good to have okami back though

Major disappointment.

I think Capcom needs to learn how to market it's not already developed core franchises so that this misstep doesn't happen again. Okami was an amazing game that was a victim of no marketing.

Especially on Atari 2600. Cheapest production costs by far!

I'm both happy and disappointed.
Would rather it be on wii with gorgeous visuals and great IR controls.

I like my DS but rarely play it for long sessions (cramped hands and small screen). Okami is a great long adventure game so I don't see me playing it for long periods of time. I'll get it definitely cause its freakin Okami but I won't play it as much as I would've if it was for the Wii.

Either way hopefully this does well and they release the third part of the trilogy for the Wii ;)
Also this is not by the original devs so hopefully they will pass development to Platinum Games for the Wii trilogy ;)
