They care about profits, just like all companies do. I highly doubt we'll see them do this for a lot of PS2 "classics", and you can keep dreaming about BC coming back. This is, in no way, indicative of the return of BC.

i dont understand this BC talk... if you have a massive ps2 games collection, you for sure have a ps2... and if you want to play them in the ps3, why didnt you did, like me, and bought a ps3 BC console back then when they were selling it???

this GoW collection... is a good to have the OPTION but i think i will pass it for now... but like others... ICO , SotC plus Last Guardian demo and trophies will be a sure buy for me!

They're crazy if they think I'm going to rebuy my PS2 games just to play them with a crispier picture.
Now we fully understand why PS2 B/C isn't coming back: there's money to be made by ripping people off. And fortunately for Sony, so many of them are willing to be ripped off.
