Umm wouldn't ODST and Halo Wars be concidered Spin-off's as well?  Based on that there have only been 3 in 10 years, hardly milked.  BTW while the MG series is technically 22 years old...there was an 8 year gap between the MG and Solid series.

I don't care too much for the term "milked". As long as the games are still good then there is no problem whatsoever imo.

i counted multiplatform for halo as well....and idk about the thing u said wtf on

ok so MS and Sony had milked some of their franchises, but what about nintendo??? I want mario to teach me how to cook in his coming game! and I can't wait for link to save zelda for the 50th time.

I think people say Halo is milked cause it offers nothing really new. All the Halo games except Halo Wars play and look the same. MGS games have all gotten better in gameplay and graphics. So to me MGS isn't milked.

Halo is not milked at all, it's just that we have 2 this year, 1 next year and will be bombarded will halo stuff. That's not milked, that's taking advantage.
