Forums - General - this video makes me embarresed to be an american...

Someone did one in Britain too and it's exactly the same situation. The thing is they cherry pick 30 stupid looking people and out of those 30 maybe 5 will be idiots. It's rather sad really to exploit peoples stupidity.

I hope the world knows that not every American is like this. A vast amount of us are well educated and despise idiots like this. Then again, I'd like to see Americans make videos like this in Europe to "test and label the population as a whole."

Hey! Why are you picking on us Europeans? The video was from New Zealand, pick on them!

Meh, at least most Americans can spell idea (0:25).

Also, may I add something to this. One of the people was asked who was in the "Axis of Evil". he started off by saying Germany and then said he wasn't sure about the others and then it cut to give you the impression that was all he said.

Now I think he gave a smart answer to the question, but he just misunderstood the question so it seemed dumb. The reason is that Germany was part of the axis in world war two and I think he misunderstood that the journalist was referring to the modern day "Axis of evil". It was unfair to use him in the video I think.

Toastboy for president!

These videos are very funny and a good watch but....

It's cherry picking to the highest degree.

It's no secret there are a lot of stupid people everywhere, you just need to go out and find them.

They probably went through hundreds and hundreds of people until they found some people to give stupid responses and put them in a video which gives the assumption America is stupid.

It also seems like the "in" thing to do is rag on America now. It's kind of like ragging on Bush, they did it so often for 8 years that people just got sick and tired of it, every time i hear a Bush joke now it makes me want to kill the comedian for using extremely old material, Obama is president now, not Bush, time to move on people.

i should be, im he smartest warm blooded person ever

this has been posted here before, a while back. And the whole world is generally stupid, not just americans. although america seem to have more of them, judging by the few ive met.

@Twest.... that isnt the only typo, 'Queen Elisabeth' at 1:17. The subtitles werent done by the original show who made though, it would have been given subtitles for broadcast in other countries
