You can't download physical hardware like memory... but I'm hopeful we'll eventually be able to download a patch that lets us use SD-cards like they were a part of the system memory. It's currently not possible to play VC games straight off SD cards, even on the same Wii they were downloaded with, right?

I burned a CD with some multimedia stuff on it for a friend of a friend. He couldn't get them working, because, it turned out, he had a 486 with 8 megs of RAM.

* Him: "How come they don't work?"
* Me: "You need a new motherboard, CPU, case, power supply, lots more RAM, and maybe a new video card."
* Him: "Can you download them for me?"
