How much games can you save on your Wii?
=/ I didn't used the VC option yet (Sorry I am playing those games on emulators or on my old Snes/Nes).

So basicly it allows you to keep things well past their sell by date?
bah, it hasn't affected me yet, but Wiiware is sure to, i have to admit though even having only 7 VC games there are three i don't go on much anymore but i paid like £15 for the three combined it just seems wrong to delete them.
I suppose it is kind of like people trading games in after they have played them, a lot of people seem to do that but that's not my thing, i mean if i still have a console that plays my games i will keep them even if i rarely play them, case in point i had 15 Gamecube games and sold the three i was playing less with the Gamecube to help get a Wii, but i miss having them.
i have to admit though, there is easily enough room to hold all the games that are likely to get a decent amount of time on the Wii, say 1 page of VC (12 games) and 2 pages of WiiWare (first page being for main Channels).
so actually it's fine for me, i bet i will have only got onto the last page on the channels menu by the end of the generation, and i certainly wouldn't mind moving a few of my rarely played games onto SD.....but that's not the point really, there should be that choice for the few (it seems like a lot on this site but it wont be) gamers that want to play 40+ VC/WiiWare games.

I really disagree with this. How hard would it be to let the games play off of a sd card as long as it recognizes that it's on the wii it was downloaded from...
I personally don't have lots of VC games yet, but that plus wiiware scares me.
It's just a chore I don't want to do. here's how it would go:
"oh, I want to download game X let's delete game Y and Z for now. *deletes and goes to shop channel* crap I need to free up 10 more blocks for game X. *goes back to menu, deletes another game, goes back to the shop channel and download game X* 20 min. later I get to play game X...
You can copy it to your SD card and back pretty quickly right? So you don't have to download it again. I have no idea if this will annoy me or not if I run out of space. I've got 12 VC games so far, and so far I only plan on getting the new Dr. Mario's Virus Buster and the new Crystal Chronicles for Wii Ware. I'm sure I'll run out eventually though. I could just copy it all onto a 2 gig and then copy over what I want whenever I want it I guess.

That sucks. I'm shocked Soriku actually posted some bad wii news as well.
Good Job there.

Yeah it is shocking how a person can change after a Pron thread.

"We’re always talking"
Less talk more action! Storage is my biggest gripe with the Wii. There is no reason they can't create an update that makes some of the Wii's memory swappable with the SD card slot. That way when you click on a game from the SD card, it quickly loads it into Wii's flash memory and plays it. I wouldn't mind keeping X blocks free on my Wii if I could use storage on my SD card for something...
