OK.  On news sites everywhere they say the Pro is disappearring.  But on the american web site at this location:

There are still clearly three SKUs and it looks like they just dropped the Pro name... 

Does anyone have the official press release?  Where it says the Pro is exiting?

From what I understand they are dropping the pro and pricing the remaining ones to 249.99 while the elite is being dropped to 299.99 or something along them lines.

pro is being dropped after stocks clear. elite $299 arcade $199

So if you check the link I gave...  Zoom into the 360 Elite box and it clearly only has two SKUs, but down below they compare three...

I would like to see Microsoft's formal announcement because it looks to me like they are dropping the name but not the SKU.

They still have to sell those left in stock.

what is there to be confused about, there were 3 SKU's of the 360. The Arcade (Budget model), Pro (60GB) (Middle tier model), and Elite (120GB) (most expensive).
They announced that they are phasing out the middle tier model (Pro 60GB), and bringing their most expensive model (120 GB) down to the old middle tier price point of $299. While supplies last the remaining stock of the 60GB will be clearanced at $249. Meanwhile the price of the Arcade remains the cheapest video game console at $199

So where is the MICROSOFT press release?  Link someone please...
