First of all, excuse me if it was already posted or explained.

I find odd that tere is quite a difference between vg chartz numbers and media create numbers.

VG CHARTZ has :

- WII at 8.46 millions

- PS3 at 3.33

- 360 at 1.13

And Media create has :

- Wii at 8.38

- PS3 at 3.57

- 360 at 1.10

Ok so the difference with the 360 is really small, but for the ps3, vg chartz is undertracking it by 240 k according to MC ! (And overtracking Wii by 80 k but i suppose it is acceptable on a basis of 8 millions +)

So, any explinations please ?

I think Ms should give up in Japan and make a handheld there.

Why don't you find Famitsu and Dengeki numbers a look and see how different they are too.

I haven't access to famitsu numbers, why don't you post them

actually if you want to know numbers that are very accurate compare famitsu and vgchartz numbers and i believe they are fairly accurate so basically MC is undertracking wii by 80K and overtracking PS3 by 240k...

And why famitsu is the most accurate ? So nobody wants to post famitsu numbers...

It'll probably sell like 2.5 million in all.

Where did you get those MC numbers from? I checked the Neogaf Media Create thread and they had a lower LTD for PS3.

On jeuxvideo.com there is a news about the japanese sales, according media create.

Here they have PS3 LTD as of August 10 at 3.27 million, so actually a little lower than VGchartz.
