Love the reviews. People who clearly have not purchased an elite scoring it down, citing the usual rubbish and spreading fud.

It's not even the best selling list, just the ones with the biggest change listed. So 360 elite went from #100 something to #36...

Did it go up because of increased sales or due to some other metric. Granted, trying to use Amazon in this way is very unreliable, but I'm trying to understand better how the Amazon ranking mechanism works.

The Elite has just risen a bit after the price cut.Yeah,it is at the top of the list but it is the movers and shakers list.

It is nowhere to be seen in the bestseller's list,PS3 is leading it,.

Wow. Now we are using the "movers & shakers" list? At least the best sellers list could have some merit. This list is completely useless by itself.

I think these rankings are based on the pages most visited.

The 360 isn't going to beat the PS3 on that list or this holiday season. The 360 had a small price cut (and a price increase aswell) but the PS3 has a big price cut and a new model which is certainly something people have been waiting for. The old PS3 wouldn't even fit in some tv furnitures, atleast not without enough room to ventilate heat. I think it will do especially well among older gamers who were teens in the PS1 generation. I don't think it will steal much of the Wii's thunder but the 360 will certainly suffer.

Yeah this holiday looks like Ms won it already.
