This is only something I found on a Norwigian site about sales growth.

Fresh salesnumbers for games in Norway has just been published by the Norwegian Game- and Multimedia association. The immediate conclusion is that the overall game sales has grown with over 27% in comprimision to last year. (the numbers is till august 2007)

 Total it is sold games for over 250 million kr (NOK). Computer equals over 66 million kr (NOK) and consoles equals for 134 million kr (NOK). Ganes for handheld comes in additional.

 The total sales for last year was 194 million kr (NOK).

 The total sale for consoles is also out till June 30 2007.

Microsoft doesn't give us their numbers for Xbox and Xbox 360.

ARe you saying that their are 250 million games sold last year in Norway?

That means every Norwegian citizen bought last year 40 games X_X.

Edit: I guess you mean that the Norwegian population spend 250 million for games.

Yeah that should be right the dollar is weak and the Kroner is pretty strong It is also not that long since the PSP had higer sales than the ds but very low software
