Have EA really had a poor history with the PS3? I can't think of any examples.

OP- Can you edit your post to inform that the company has been confirmed to be EA?

Also, if you read into the linked thread in the OP a little bit, he says that HPatOotP is the MAJOR game that doesn't work with the in-game music and cross-game chat. That game, sadly, is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

NOBODY BESIDES 3 YEAR OLDS PLAY HARRY POTTER!! AND THOSE THAT DO WOULD NOT CARE ABOUT NO CROSS-GAME VOICE CHAT!!!!! God. Get over yourself EA. My new-found respect for you just went down the damn drain.

p.s. And just so you know, I'm a HP lover. The games are just garbage.

edit: It's not just HP that doesn't work with it, but he said that that is the one game that comes to mind.

I thought the same thing. It must be behind-the-scenes stuff.

I'm kinda surprised if it's EA. They release every year a new game in a series, would they bother? I can imagine this isn't the right timing.

Yeah, I alread had edited it because people kept thinking other ones did it. I guess I'll also put the game responsiable though.

This doesn't make sense X chat doesn't need to integrated in to game its its own function....just like regular chat but with voices

Maybe what it could have been was the beginning EA had poor history with Sony. I mean the Harry Potter game was out in 2007 that was not even a year (was it) that the PS3 came out. So developers still didn't like the PS3 maybe now EA would be more inclined to update or patch their games. They do seem to be on better terms with Sony. I mean all the HOME content EA has done for Sony. I just don't see them hating each other anymore.

EA is back to where it was, Acitivision isnt the new EA at all.

I will make sure not to buy BF BC 2 or any other products from EA if this is true...
