awesome.droping the weird ads and the new tag line (only does everything) are really good stuff.
Rebranding is difficult.
It would be very interesting to see how effective this campaign is in changing people's views about the PS3.
It's still being branded as a premium product, but focus has changed from raw power to features. It's also made out a bit more accessible.
This move is definitely aimed at stealing even more of Microsofts sales.

Out of the £82 million Sony are planning to spend on Europe, only £6 million has been committed to marketing in the U.K.
