No one cares about Master Chief. Put someone good in. It's bad enough that Snake is in this game instead of Mega or someone like that.

You'll need to wait for 10 years for Microsoft to become "software only" first. Then they'll mend bridges with Nintendo by tossing MC cameos.

Snake is big in Japan.
MC is DoA in Japan.
There's no way MC will be in Smash until 360 reach at least PS3 level in Japan.

If Smash was developed in America, then it's entirely possible.

We've not debating IF it will happen, it won't. Question is: What if it did?

People would say Bungie is filled with traitors and were wrecking Halo by associating it with Nintendo.

I wouldn't be so quick to ignore the possibility yet. There's still a lot of time for a Halo DS games to be announced and the more I think about it, I think it's still a decent sized IF but there's still a decent chance too.

And I know Master Chief isn't huge in Japan, but he is huge in America.  They've already added some characters from Japan only games and that is what they've done in the past too, but what if they started thinking about the American audience too?  Like I said, adding Master Chief would make the game even more insane popular in America and bring in a whole new audience.  There would be lines of people lining up to buy the game and console just because Master Chief was in it.

Okay I'll bite.  Why do you think so?  I havn't heard anything to make me think this might still happen. Aside from Viva Pinata DS.  Problem is we don't know why it was ka-boshed in the first place.   Would be sweet though!
