Wow the insides look beautiful lol. Sony is the best when it comes to making hardware.

it's actually quite amazing how compact it is... and i love the grand names - reality synthesizer
Kinda makes me wonder how hot that powersupply is if it's supposed to be COOLED BY HOT AIR... [confused]
Either way, I'm sure SONY's tested this thing well after seeing this gens failures with YLOD, BLU-RAY Drive failures, RROD etc.

Heat flow is a very complex thing. There is heat dispersion, thermal conductivity and some other things that are also important (I did basic heat flow design...but I am not an expert, not even close) I'm sure that there are Mechanical Engineers majoring in Heating and Cooling who know what they are doing...

you just won your own thread

Is the fan bigger than the monstrosity on the PS3 fat?
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Am I missing something? Where's the PSU?
Very nice build quality indeed. Seems the BD drive and the fan are what hold the size of the system back the most at the moment.
i am still amaze how sony managed to squeeze so much so small space.
i am engineering student, but systems and computers engineer, but this makes want to go into another engineering.
and indeed!, the fan is sexy, and complex no wonder ps3 have so little overheating problems it producem more heat than the 360 design which is, practically a PC motherboard.
in the slim sony used each inch of space to allocate everything , even HDD, and power, which 360 have both outside.
